About The Dayara Bugyal
Dayara Bugyal is a Himalayan Alpine Meadow in Uttarakshi district of Uttarakhand. It is located at an elevation of 12,000 feet and is 40 km from Uttarkashi. It is a very popular camping and trekking destination for Himalayan Hikers. Dayara Bugyal is very rich in flora and fauna. Trees like Deodar, Oak, Pine, and Rhododendron can be seen all over the place. Dayara Bugyal provides the best scenes of the Garhwal Himalayas. Mountain peaks like Nanda Devi, Bandarpunch, and Swargarohini can be seen easily from here.

This is just a perfect time if you want to experience the melting snow and re-blooming of the flowers making them look green and colorful. During this time, the lower part is blooming with flowers whereas, the mountain tops are still covered with snow.

Quick Itinerary
This trek is a 4-day long trek. Following will be the schedule for the trek:
- Day 1: Dehradun to Raithal.
You’ll be picked up around 7:30 am from Dehradun and will proceed towards Raithal by road to Raithal. The total driving distance will be 185kms.
- Day 2: Raithal to Gui Campsite
On the second say, you’ll be trekking 5kms from Raithal to Gui. It is a very easy trek that trekkers can complete very easily. As you’ll reach the camp, you’ll get lunch and stroll in the evening. Trekkers have to stay overnight at the camp.
- Day 3: Guide to Dayara Bugyal and back to Gui Campsite
On day 3 you’ll be trekking another 4kms at an altitude of 3408 meters. You’ll proceed to Dayara Bugyal from the campsite after having breakfast. Lunch will be done at Dayara viewpoint. Then, you’ll come back to the Gui campsite and have dinner.
- Day 4: Gui Campsite to Raithal and Travel to Dehradun
Now, it’s the final day. You’ll be back at Gui campsite have to breakfast and proceed back to Raithal. Then you’ll travel back to Dehradun.
